COGIC Celebrates 100 years of Ministry…2007 – Memphis, TN

From 1907 to 2007 the Church of

God in Christ is officially 100 years old and better than ever. This month the COGIC church celebrates 100 years of ministry at their 100th Holy Convocation which convenes this week in the city of Memphis, TN the Mecca of the denomination. Seeing close to 70,000 people this week, Memphis is set to be on fire throughout the convocation week as the saints call Memphis home for a week. Many, artists and well known preachers, and evangelists will be on hand to help celebrate with Bishop Charles E. Blake and the Church of God In Christ. The Convocation is set to be televised this week online via webcast by going to the COGIC web site and clicking the link for the live streaming media.
