Pray for Ministry Leaders: Juanita Bynum, Paula White & All who serve publicly

I have conceded that prayer and a personal committment to true God fearing, spirit led ministry is what is in order for this hour. We have taken the time in observation to comment and express our own individual opinons towards what is right and wrong in the lives and actions of those who we have witnessed publicly proclaim the delivering and saving power of Jesus Christ for years. This is the hour for sincere introspective examinations. Only you can look in the mirror and behold what you really see. This does not deny or overlook what we can clearly see if we chosen in the lives of other believers, but now is the time to recognize that a good old fashioned sanctifying blood washing is needed in order for us all to continue in this day. We are confronted with so many conerfits that it is imperative we seek God’s face continually with no reservations. The diversion is all that we see happening aroound us in this world. We will never see genuine revival until revival breaks out in our own members (body, mind). Whatever is takes get back to where you were called to be, and strive to live above the noise of this society. Be an example and let the world know just what Christ looks like by observing your daily activity. We are commanded to love the Lord with all our heart, soul & mind. Worship is not just what we do, or sing in a pumped up rehearsed and energetic filled service, it is the life we live and the service we give back to God. We serve the Lord with our service to others. Here is a perfect occasion to demonstrate our love for the Lord in worship as we pray for the ministers who carry the Gospel! God Bless – Soulworshiper

I agree! We should definitely pray for Bynum, White & their families during this time. However my question is why are these “ministers of the gospel” not stepping down for a season from the ministry & going thru spiritual counseling?? How can these ladies stand in front of a congregation with a straight face & preach on adultery, fornication & divorce with this on their records. As ministers of the gospels according to Scripture, they are to be above reproach. My next question to these ladies….is this really about the TRUE gospel of Christ…..or is it about them, their banks accounts & material possessions?? I’ve seen both of these people on TBN. When they speak it always revolves around the old saying….”it’s all about the money”.

Now I see why our churches & society in general are going down the toilet.

So Very true! My heart hurts … so many are led astray because of such ministries. Ms. Bynum may have been abused and for that I feel for her … but she has used it as a new marketing tool for her ministry. Shame on her! You are absolutley right … she should step down for at least a season … she needs to sit at the feet of Jesus for awhile and not at a table in a hotel that most of us cannot even afford to each lunch in!

Most women that find themselves in abusive situations are nurturers … not bulldogs. When a square peg tries to fit in with round ones … questions need to be asked.

it is really true that he that thinketh he stands should take heed less he falls. we in the faith must pray for one another this two people are those i admire, hearing the news was questionable and this is a lesson to many depending on people is wrong let us allow God to be our only model that can not fall. i still love this women of God and my advise for them is that they should the fear of God and the love of God reign in their heart. i love you. pls be strong inTHE LORD.

  7. 8 pray for me October 7, 2007 at 9:05 pm

    Hello,

Please pray for both parties and don’t judge either side because only God knows the truth. I myself was falsely accused of domestic violence. Money got tight and my former wife became abusive. This abuse stemmed from the way her mother would treat her father. (Hitting, smacking & public humiliation). When a man is abused you must report it QUICKLY because it can be turned around on you very easily.
I was blessed that the judge in divorce court saw the truth first hand when my ex came out of her fake crying and started yelling and being abusive right inside of the court room. The judge even told me that I was “very lucky” and could have lost some freedom if the truth were not exposed. The only thing that helped me keep my composure was realizing how Jesus acted while being abused. He forgave before they even wanted forgiveness.
Not all men react like I did. I have male friends who saw what I went through and said, “I would have hit her back.” or “I would have hurt somebody.” It has been over two years and I still don’t date. The Lord is healing me. This is the first time that I have spoken out about the matter because, the Lord has shown me that there is more than meets the eye about this particular case.
We don’t know the truth about the Bynum-Weeks case, but I do know that JOY COMES IN THE MORNING and GOD SEES EVERYTHING including the heart of a man/woman.

    God bless you all,

    Pray for me.

I don’t think that it is circumstantial that the private lives of these very public women have been exposed within a short period of time. I believe that the Lord wants the church to have open eyes.

The Lord wants a holy bride without spot or wrinkle. Yes, we are human, and yes, the Lord is merciful. He is also holy and calls us to be holy. Those called to ministry are indeed called to a very high standard.

When Juanita Bynum chose to marry a man who did not have the faith nor the faithfulness to persevere in his marriage, or to believe that the God who instituted that marriage could make it whole again, she chose less than God’s best. When she spent over a million dollars on that poor choice at the expense of the widow’s mite, she, again, chose less than God’s best.

Surely, Paula White knows that God hates divorce. Surely, the God who inspires her wisdom and insite into the word of God, giving her an audience to help thousands of women who hear her teaching, could bring her and her husband into reconciliation and wholeness.

Where is the faith of these women of faith? Where is the cross in their lives? Where is holiness? Where is sanctification? Where is honesty before God?

    Where is honesty?

    Where is honesty?

Judy,,, I think you hit the nail on the head. I think the Lord is opening peoples eyes. And Id have to wonder if these wof pastors are not the very same that are even going to be so arrongant as to tell jesus himself of all they did for him and he says “Depart from me I never knew you” Are these the workers of iniquity? Something to consider anyway. False doctorines, lovers of money? Didnt jesus only throw one fit while he was here? IT was running the money changers out of the house of God. Told his followers FREELY you recieved and FREELY you give. Didnt a rich man try to buy the power of the holy spirit and they ran him off? These people are lying thieves, twisting the word of a holy God to rob the poor people that sit under their subjection. Even bynum after all shes been thru is asking for 200,000 for a threshing floor to pray on. Jesus himself prayed in the wilderness and in a garden. Who is she to think she cant pray unless she has that kind of floor beneath her. And speaking as a PI. let us not forget. Its not been to trial and the investigation is ongoing. Mr. weaks claims he didnt do it. Maybe he didnt, none of us have interviewed the bell boy. Maybe Mrs. Bynum gave the kid 50,000 to rough her up some. Im sure a bell boy hardly has the money to put gas in his car to get to work. Would have been a nice pay day. Not saying thats what happened but you never know what happened till the case is worked, until then its all assumption. If Mr. Weaks did it, throw him under the bus but lets wait to find out if he did first. What? Mrs.Bynum couldnt be that dirty? Well shes used the episode for a threshing floor. And to lump paula and juanita and the rest of them all together, most of them have been divorced at least once and in some cases more than once. According to the word of God they dont have a ministry anymore they have to step down? But if we use the whole word of God then they cant keep getting your money. So we’ll all just ignore that passage of scripture. Pray for them? I guess if we are going to be honest with the word of God, yes we should. But I would think the greater concern would be to pray for the people that still sit under them blinid and believing, hanging on their every false word and doctrine while giving them their hard earned money and wondering how they are gonna pay the light bill after.

we pray that we will trully repent and the leaders as well . I shake when I read of errors of Jim Jones who diverted from the truth (not sure if he was ever in truth). The road to some disaster is a process and once we nip the tree in the bud we will be fruitful and our leadrs and indded the church will be restored and saved from worse mess . we judge the actions yes and help come up with solutions prayerful and hoping our most spiritual leaders will take the whole issue up in order to protect the body of Christ from the looming errors -marrying -divorcing , marrying -divorcing again and again and still stand in the pulpit in public to preach what?

Very well said! Paula White is being blasted by many claiming to be “true” Christians while verbally attacking her and her husband. We all make mistakes, but Mrs. White and her work are good for our community. I just started reading her new book, You’re All That!, and it’s very interesting how applicable it seems to be to this very situation. I highly recommend this book, it’s available here.

the two women involved in the matter under discussion need our prayers and not our bad mouth.a truly rightous person does not use the mistake of others to show case their rightousness.joseph did not use the mistake of mary to show case his rightousness.at the end of the day there was no mistake at all.lets just pray for them.

Judy girl you are perfectly right, i agree with you totally for the both women whom call themselves leaders i agree with you the same things I would have said, so i have no more to say, but i agree.

but guess what let us pray for them, as the devil may laugh at us too, for putting down our sisters, lets hope they see their mistakes, and remember they need our prayers.

I for one am reaaly appalled at some of the comments people are making about the men and or women that God can ddoes , and has been using and according to his plan and will, submission, obediance to his will and voice will continue to use…And furthermore, i am also disappointed and the lack of wisdom and knowledge some of you have about the Scriptures as to how or whom God can and will operate through…There are many different scriptures that i can take one to in the bible right now to shoe you how can can use these people and anyone else that is submited to his plan and will,As Jesus so effectively put ; let him that be without sin, let him cast the first stone… This was the woman that the according to the religious, judgemental leaders of his day had accused this woman of being caught in their words;”in the very act; now if Jesus himself did not condemn them, as being the Son of the living God, “then who are you, to overstep Christ?” Read yor Bibles,And in all thy getting, get understanding when you read…..

you know as i read the different replies i get mixed feelings whether to agree or not to agree. i still think both women are women of God no matter what they have done. we all fall just like the bible says a righteous man falls seven times but he gets back up again. so i feel that we should pray for these ladies and their families. the devil is busy destroying families marriages etc, and i think it’s up to us as an individual to not allow him to take anything or destroy anything that is rightfully ours. the bible clearly states the devil comes to steal kill and destroy and it seems as if he’s doing just that, but God states he gives authority over that devil and i think we all should use just that. so let’s continue to pray for these men and women of God that they take heed lest they fall.

May God Bless all our leaders, they have a mighty big assignment, and need our prayers not our judgement. When Jesus said, “let him with out sin cast the first stone,” actually no one did, so why are people on a witch hunt? acting like judge and jury. Jesus also said that we should look at the planks in our own eyes, than the spec’s in other’s eye’s. We need to focus on our calling’s, and our purpose. Let us direct our conversation and our time delighting in God’s work.”If we give the devil attention,he will give us direction. Gossiping is not from God. Let us show respect, to our leaders. Jesus said “judge not”.”Do we want to be judged?” God is in control. We should be mindfull about talking about leaders. Most of the negative hurtfull comments made against Juanita Bynum, Bishop Weeks, and Paula White. I’m sure the remarks are from people who listened to them preach, who have bought a book, cd, dvd, and who have heard them preach. These same people were blessed by the word preached. Thank God for what he is doing in their lives. If Bishop weeeks has done wrong. Ultimatly God will deal with him.

Theses same people need to fall on their knee’s and put their hand’s together, and ask for God’s forgiveness. They should let God use them to pray for the MEN AND WOMAN OF GOD.I would ask that we pray in unity, as global pray warriers, that the devil will leave our leaders alone. We should act in love to Bishop Weeks, and to Juanita. Let us be reminded, it is God who called them. The spiritual attacks they go through, because they want to do God’s will, that is only for starters. Let us not sin by bad thought’s, deed’s,our word’s,or by our action. I Thank God For Our Leaders Lives. Amen.
May God pretect Our Leader’s In Jesus Name.Amen

As for Paula White and Juanita Bynum I think they are setting a poor example for Christians and giving the non Christians an exuse why they dont want to be a Christian. When your in any kind of leadership you need to have higher standard or you dont need to be a leader. If a person wants to be in the public eye they need not to compromise the word of God. I am sad for the poor examples of Christian leadership in America. I think money has become a God to some people and pride is the root. Pride is what cast satan out of heaven and it is pride that is destroying marriages and individual people. If we want to walk with God we shouldnt think so highly of ourselves and stay humble like Jesus did. Jesus wasnt so concerned about haveing a high and mighty reputation he was concerned about lost souls and sick people (spiritually and physically). So as for Paula and Juanita I think they should recheck their motives for what they do. Is it to glorify God or glorify themselves. I think these women at one time was little in their own eyes but now have become full of themselves. This is what we all must watch for when walking with our Lord Jesus Christ.
In conclusion, I am not exempt from making mistakes nor is anyone else the key is prayer and more prayer.
